About Devco Heaters

Devco Heaters is a private, single owned company. Bought in 2018 by Jeff Hutsell, who had actively been involved with Devco since 2011; and indirectly involved thru his father-in-law who founded DPH in February of 2005.

DPH is a community, or a family of sorts, that takes very serious the needs of our clients and being a solutions provider to the industry. It is our mission to bring our promises to life by creating a product that lives up to the pride we take in each detail. To bring the safest, best quality, and most economic option to our clients, each and every time!

Safety is paramount to us! Everything we do, starts at safety, assuring that site personel have a piece of equipment that will be the model for ease of operation, but designed to be safe to operate and make sure protection for that individual is focused on and put in to place each and every time. 

Who We Are

Jeff Hutsell - President

Jeff has a deep experience in major projects ranging throughout the Middle East and the United States. As a former executive with Houston Interests, Jeff has proven a vast experience in successfully leading operations into bringing projects to completion staying focused on quality, safety and keeping projects on-schedule and within budget with an extremely high success rate. Now, with that experience, Jeff intends to bring those traits into Devco Process Heaters to assure that our clients know that we are here for them.

To quote Jeff, " It is my job and passion to take the approach every day to lead with our integrity to honor our clients with a heart to serve. To make sure they see the care and concern we put into safety, with an eye on quality, and always bringing the best we can to assure their operations are influenced positively by our contribution! HOW WE GOT HERE

Devco Heaters opened in 2005, bringing a new standard of heater packages to the marketplace. in 2016, DPH was sold to a corporate group, and then purchased back as a private company in 2018 by Jeff Hutsell, the current owner.  Since putting in over 200+ heaters to-date, DPH has worked tirelessly to bring standard package heating systems, hot oil pump skids, BMS packages, and fuel train design. Recently, DPH has begun expanding to utilize all capabilities, including piping and skid design, small storage vessels,  on-site commissioning and startup, and many other services!

Our capabilities on process heaters range from 1MMBTu/hr to 100MMBtu/hr, utilizing direct-fired and API-style heater designs to achieve the best design for your plant needs. We can maximize efficiency through detailed design to ensure you get the most fuel-efficient application, saving on plant costs for years to come! We also offer API 560 'Style' horizontal heaters called the ELITE_HE, applying the LOBO EVANS METHOD, and heavily influenced by API 560.
